The Lindberg Park Neighborhood Association is managed by a 9-member volunteer Board of Directors. Our mission is to support the overall safety, community, and well-being of the Lindberg Park neighborhood through community awareness, engagement, and action.
Resident of Lindberg Park since 2000, I live on the corner of Rhoda and Cota. Married to Kathleen for over 30 years. Retired engineer from Raytheon/Hughes (35 years). Father of five children, four who have completed CCMS and CCHS, one currently a junior at CCHS. Two of my daugters are nurses, my son is a mechanical engineer. One daughter is a freshman in college studying biomedical engineering. I am also a youth pastor at my church. Many hobbies including woodworking, running and tennis. You might have met David the past couples years when he was redoing his front and back yards.
David served as the first LPNA president from 2019 to 2022 and currently works with the Block Captains and Emergency Preparedness committees. He generated the by-laws we are currently using as the founding documents for our Neighborhood Association.
Originally from Connecticut, I have lived on Fairbanks Way since 2011. My wife Katherine has a successful business in Culver City and my daughters Carmen and Francesca attend CC High School. I work as an actor and producer, and enjoy traveling, reading, watching English and American football, eating delicious food, and spending time with my amazing family and dog Henry. I feel blessed to live in Lindberg Park and to be a part of this incredible community.
Marla and I have lived in the house next to the Ballona Creek foot bridge since 1983. All three of our sons attended Culver City schools. I have an LLM in land use from the University of Michigan Law School. I served on the Planning Commission from 1989 to 1994 and on the City Council from 1994 to 2002. I was Mayor of the City in 1996 and 2002. Over the years I have been involved in a number of City and community organizations including the Culver City Education Foundation, Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts, the Chamber of Commerce, the Historical Society, the Sister City Committee, Temple Akiba and the Culver City Charter Review Committee.
Mike, and his wife Sue, have lived on Pickford Way since 1985, where they raised their two sons.
Peter's family moved to Lindberg Park in 1998, attracted here first by the schools and parks. As a bonus, they discovered a community of neighbors and friends. His girls played in Lindberg Park and started pre-school at La Playa at the Stone House. He has served as both a block captain and a Treasurer for the Neighborhood Watch. He has also been on the Board of Shoes for the Homeless.
He currently serves on this Board in communications and as a technical advisor.
